How to use
- Wipe pipe and fitting clean of dirt, moisture and foreign material.
- Shake the can well for 15 seconds.
- Spray evenly over the pipe end and inside the fitting in short bursts, shaking frequently.
- Assemble immediately to full depth and position.
- Allow to cure up to 25 minutes depending on pipe size.
Frequently asked questions
Do I still need a separate primer? No. Lockdown is cleaner, primer and cement in one and meets ASTM F-656 for primer.
Can I use it on condensate drain lines? Yes, it is designed for PVC and ABS drain, waste and vent pipe.
Clear or purple? Purple where the inspector wants to see primer; clear for finished, visible work.
