How to install
- Turn the system on and verify it is running.
- Attach the inject to the inject gun or manifold hose firmly, then to the low-side service port (generally the larger line).
- Purge the hose, open the low-side valve and watch the clear tube empty; close the valve as soon as it is clear. This only takes a few seconds.
- Verify the charge against the nameplate, cap the port, and run the system at least one hour so the product circulates.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find the leak after injecting? Run the system, then scan joints, coils and fittings with a UV lamp and glasses; dye accumulates at every leak.
What do I use to repair the leak? Small leaks: seal permanently with Xantus Max Seal. Large leaks: repair mechanically.
Do I have to pump the system down? No.
