Xantus 36-101 Max Seal + UV Dye Commercial is a direct inject refrigerant leak sealant for 6 to 15 ton commercial systems. Connect it to the low-side service port, inject in seconds while the unit runs, and the XL4 Hyper Seal formula circulates with the refrigerant to find and permanently seal the leaks. No pump-down, no evacuation, no measuring. Commercial charge with Firefly UV dye built in. The Max Seal formula has been sealing leaks since 2000 with more than 2.3 million units sold. Made in the USA by Xantus Products, Champaign, Illinois.

How to install
- Turn the system on and verify it is running.
- Attach the inject to the inject gun or manifold hose firmly, then to the low-side service port (generally the larger line).
- Purge the hose, open the low-side valve and watch the clear tube empty; close the valve as soon as it is clear. This only takes a few seconds.
- Verify the charge against the nameplate, cap the port, and run the system at least one hour so the product circulates.
Use it when
- A system in this size range loses charge every season and the leak is in a coil or a joint you cannot reach.
- You need to keep the customer running today and schedule the coil or lineset repair later.
- You want a preventive treatment against the small pinhole leaks that develop over time.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to evacuate or pump down the system? No. Inject into the running system through the low-side port.
Can I inject while adding refrigerant? Yes. The refrigerant being added carries the sealant into the system.
Will it clog my gauges or metering device? Max Seal is proven not to clog manifold gauges and not to plug TXVs, capillary tubes or pistons.
Is a small bubble in the tube normal? Yes. It is a gas bubble from vapor pressure during filling.
