Xantus 26-101 Max Seal Commercial is the direct inject refrigerant leak sealant for 6 to 15 ton commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Connect it to the low-side service port, inject in seconds while the unit runs, and the XL4 Hyper Seal formula circulates with the refrigerant to find and permanently seal the leaks. No pump-down, no evacuation, no measuring. Made in the USA by Xantus Products, Champaign, Illinois.

How to install
- Turn the system on and verify it is running.
- Attach the 26-101 inject to the inject gun (or manifold hose) firmly, then to the low-side service port.
- Purge the hose, open the low-side valve and watch the tube clear; close the valve as soon as it is clear.
- Check the charge against the nameplate and top off if needed. Run the system at least one hour so the sealant reaches the leak.
Use it when
- A rooftop unit, split system or walk-in cooler in the 6 to 15 ton range loses charge every season and the leak is in a coil or a hard-to-reach joint.
- You need to keep a commercial customer running today and schedule the coil replacement later.
- You want a preventive treatment against small pinhole leaks that develop over time.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to evacuate or pump down the system? No. Inject into the running system through the low-side port.
Can I inject while adding refrigerant? Yes. The refrigerant being added carries the sealant into the system.
How big a leak will it seal? Max Seal is designed for the small leaks that cause slow charge loss. For large leaks, find them first with Firefly UV dye (73-101 commercial) and repair mechanically.
Will it harm my recovery machine or gauges? Max Seal is proven not to clog manifold gauges, TXVs, cap tubes or pistons.
Is there a small bubble in the tube? That is a gas bubble from vapor pressure during filling. Normal.
