Xantus 17-101 System Defender is the all-in-one direct inject for new installs and 6 to 15 ton commercial systems: the most proven Max Seal sealant formula to protect against leaks, moisture protection that converts moisture into a synthetic oil, and protection against mechanical friction and excess noise. Small leaks are common on new system installs and bring moisture and costly recharges with them; install System Defender when you install the system and it is on duty from day one. Installs in seconds through the low-side port, no pump-down, no injection hose or caulk gun. Made in the USA.

How to install
- Turn the system on and verify it is running.
- Attach the inject to the inject gun or manifold hose firmly, then to the low-side service port (generally the larger line).
- Purge the hose, open the low-side valve and watch the clear tube empty; close the valve as soon as it is clear. This only takes a few seconds.
- Verify the charge against the nameplate, cap the port, and run the system at least one hour so the product circulates.
Use it when
- Every new system install, so the warranty period is not spent chasing a pinhole leak.
- Startup of a system that sat open or was field-brazed.
- Preventive maintenance on a system you want to keep out of trouble.
