EPA Certification Exam (CFC)

Rogers Supply Location

Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act requires all persons who maintain, service, repair, or dispose of appliances that contain regulated refrigerants, be certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques as of November 14, 1994.

Rogers Supply provides monthly opportunities at their corporate office in Champaign for Certification Testing. For local testing, contact the branch manager for scheduling. Individual testing can be arranged at the proctor's disgression. Groups of 10 or more, from one company, can have a proctor at their location. Contact the Sales and Marketing Department for scheduling.

The EPA Certification Exam is a test ONLY. A study guide is supplied in advance of test dates for preparation. The guide is condensed so that each paragraph is one of the questions on the exam. The test is $150. Retakes are $125 and you only have to retake the sections not passed.

Universal R-410A Safety and Training

Rogers Supply Location

The phase out of R22 gas requires an increase use of R-410A gas and knowledge of proper handling and service.

Rogers Supply provides R-410A Safety & Training at all branches in the Spring and Fall. Groups of 10 or more, from one company, can have a proctor at their location. Contact the Sales and Marketing Department for scheduling.

The R-410A Safety and Training Class is two hours of classroom presentation and discussion and 2 hours of open book testing. A study guide is supplied in advance of test dates for preparation. The class and test is $85. Retakes are $45 and are only given on class dates.
